Studio Lighting Director

London

We are looking for an experienced crew to work on the pilot Switched On. We already have a strong team and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us.

'Switched On' is a Live Current Affairs Studio Based Discussion Show. It is a bold fresh topical discussion show which fills a void by offering young people a voice.

The debate is thrown to the viewing audience who have been invited to
discuss and interact with the presenting team via phone, Skype and text.
The presenting team and topics take a light tone but deal with major issues
of the week - Switched On's objective is to inform, promote dialogue and
entertain in equal amounts.

The panellists present topics inspired by a variety of sources, from
empirical reports, to what's trending on Twitter, to newspaper and
television headlines. Each of the week's three topics is introduced with a
VT which includes PTCs of young people on the street or at events giving
their views of the topic. The panellists bring their own unique take on
each discussion which relies just as much on personal experience as
reported fact.

We require an experienced studio lighting director who will work closely with our Senior Director and camera operators who will have experience working on Live current affairs programmes.

The successful applicant will have at least 3 years experience as a studio lighting director. Experience of working in HD required.
