We are looking for an enthusiastic highly motivated individual to join our busy Camera Rental Department.
You should have significant on set experience as a Stills Photographic Assistant or Stills Digital Technician or a Prep Tech in a Rental House.

Extensive knowledge of, and experience with photographic cameras and digital equipment is essential (Canon, Nikon, Phase, Hasselblad etc.)

The Stills Technician is a Full Time position responsible for preparing and maintaining our digital stills photographic equipment. This person will work directly with the Department Manager coordinating the digital inventory, fine tuning the orders with the customers, and answering questions about operation. Returned equipment will be checked in and qualified for operational status.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Service, maintenance and repair of digital stills photographic equipment, verifying its operational performance and set-up.
• Troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues, software and firmware updates and facilitating repairs.
• Assist with equipment issues or malfunctioning inventory while on rental.
• Quality control and evaluation of new equipment for future inventory purchases.
• Participation in demos and workshops on digital stills photographic equipment for potential rental clients
• Preparation of equipment packages for rental
Qualifications/ Required Skills:
• Knowledge in Canon, Nikon, Phase and Hasselblad equipment is essential.
• Experience in servicing and repairing of professional stills digital camera equipment would be an asset
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to explain and communicate about complex technical matters is required
• Candidate must have strong computer skills in both MAC and PC
• Outstanding Customer Service skills extreme attention to detail and organizational skills.
