You will learn from the best, and work along side the future greats of the gaming industry.As Senior VFX Artist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and immersive experiences of our games through stunning VFX. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling, with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering VFX of the highest quality. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring our creative vision to life while contributing to the mentorship and development of junior team members.Key Duties Include:Collaborate with the Art Director and cross-disciplinary teams to conceptualise and execute the visual effects for our games, ensuring alignment with creative and technical requirementsCreate high-quality VFX assets that enhance gameplay and narrative immersion, utilising industry-standard tools and techniquesParticipate in the development and refinement of VFX pipelines and processes, optimising workflows for efficiency and qualityMentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow and develop their skillsCollaborate closely with Technical Artists and graphics developers to ensure the seamless integration of VFX into the game engineStay informed about emerging trends and technologies in VFX production, sharing insights and knowledge with the team to enhance our practices and workflowsParticipate in team meetings, critiques, and reviews to ensure that VFX assets meet the highest standards of quality and consistencyRequirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsDemonstrated experience in VFX production for games, with a portfolio showcasing your creativity and technical proficiencyStrong understanding of VFX principles, including timing, motion, and visual aestheticsProficiency with industry-standard content authoring tools such as Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini, or equivalentExperience working with game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity, with a focus on VFX implementation and optimisationProven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with a passion for mentoring and supporting junior team membersDesirableExperience of working in Unreal Game EngineExperience with NiagaraExperience of tools such as Houdini/EmberGenExperience in authoring shaders for VFX, either HLSL or Node based (UE4/5)Benefits25 Days Holiday, plus 1 day for your birthdayStudio Shutdown between Christmas and New YearDiscretionary Bonus SchemePrivate Pension SchemePrivate HealthcareHealth and Well-Being BenefitsDental CareOptical treatmentsMental Health Support
