Job Title: Senior Production Manager/ Production Executive

Job Summary:

Box Plus Senior Production Manager / Production Executive leads the Production Management team and will provide vital budget and administrative support to the programme, commercial and digital production teams, ensuring that all Box Plus's productions run smoothly and are cost effective.

The Box Plus Network:

Box Plus is the UK's biggest music video network. We run a portfolio of music TV brands; The Box, 4Music, Kiss, Kerrang! & Magic, alongside a suite of digital products; the Box Plus website & app and BeBoxMusic.com. We have a small but growing international distribution network and have a vibrant in-house production team that directly creates content for our channels and network of digital platforms incl. social media and syndicated feeds.

Main Responsibilities, Activities And Key Deliverables:

The Senior Production Manager / Production Executive role runs the Production Management team, working across our brands & platforms overseeing production plans, drafting budgets and ensuring the smooth running of a significant number of complicated and fast turnaround productions. The role will involve:

Managing budgets using a high level of numeracy skills & excellent negotiation skills.

Forecasting costs to senior management on a monthly basis

Regularly communicate updates to all cost managers, excellent communication is crucial

Outstanding organisation, exceptional attention to detail & a very calm head under pressure.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Experience:

Highly numerate, with extensive experience of drafting/managing budgets & an excellent knowledge of Excel.

Extensive experience and a razor sharp eye for detail in organising and ensuring the smooth running of complicated, fast turnaround shoots and all the associated logistics, including on location both in the UK and abroad.

Able to work across numerous projects simultaneously.

Confident managing & developing production teams at all levels.

Knowledge of industry rates across a broad range of suppliers.

Able to lead adventurous new thinking in the ways that Box Plus produces its content.
