Senior Edit Assistant required for a busy production company that specialises in long-form documentaries. The role will involve overseeing post production work flow, processing rushes, supporting our in-house offline suites, conforming programs for online and providing media wrangling training to production staff. The candidate will also be responsible for managing the freelance staff in the post production team and for routine management of the media servers.
This is a role that will only be suitable for an experienced candidate with a thorough knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Avid Nexis servers and post production workflows. As well as excellent technical skills the candidate will need to be highly organised, have good communication skills and be able to efficiently prioritise multiple tasks in a pressurised environment.
Salary is dependent on experience and the candidate will need to be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate tight deadlines.
