We are on the hunt for a brilliant Senior Casting Researcher to join our busy London based Casting Team to work across exciting new UK and USA projects.We are an independent television production company based in London and New York. We produce high-quality, innovative programmes with spectacular casts across documentary, factual and entertainment genres for major global broadcasters. SUITABLE APPLICANTS WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:- Experience of and at least 3 credits in the role you are applying for.- Proven ability of finding strong characters for both Entertainment and Factual programming, casting a variety of contributors.- Can demonstrate a real passion for and experience with finding and producing Entertainment and Factual cast members (Authentic Contributors and/or Talent).- You must be fluent in Outlook, Word, Excel and Social Media platforms.- You will be social media savvy with a finger on the pulse for what the latest trends are within casting.- Have an eye for detail, used to producing Top Sheets and deliverables of the highest level with a real 'wow' factor.- Take care and pride in producing excellent Skype interviews. - Ability to successfully conceptualise exciting and challenging briefs; whilst thinking outside of the box in terms of outreach and producing cast members. - Ability to cope well with change and pace, with creativity and flexibility to deal with unexpected problems that come with casting. - Must be organised, able to work on their own when needed as well as collaborating closely with our friendly in-house production and post-production teams. - Be an outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, adept at influencing and negotiating and with the empathy, tact and diplomacy to read each situation from all angles.- You would ideally have American casting experience, but not a must, a good caster can cast anywhere - but must be interested in the USA and International Television. You will be reporting to the Head of Casting directly and working closely with an AP. Shift pattern changes may be needed when casting American or overseas contributors and/or talent. This is a 6 month contract with a 3 month probationary period. Interviews will take place in our brand new offices in Highbury from Friday 17th February with a start date of w/c 20th February 2017.
