ie ie productions is a bilingual production company based in Cardiff, known for its thought provoking, cultural, multi-platform projects. We are looking for a reliable and flexible assistant, who would like to progress within the Media Industry, to provide general admin support to the Company Director and team of freelance Producers and Directors.This varied position offers the opportunity to grow within the company and through working across our expanding and varied slate of projects, learn about all aspects of film, television and radio production; including documentary, animation and drama.Applicants should demonstrate a keen interest in all things creative and cultural and the ability to be able to work both independently and within a team environment.Role to include: • Helping to manage the day to day running of the office • Making sure the office is kept clean and tidy• Looking after the post, daily collections from post room and checking each day of there's anything to be posted out• Staying on top of stationary orders and other office supplies. • Running errands, including teas, coffees and lunch runs • Filing, printing, copying, scanning documents • Keeping company and individual productions spread sheets, contact lists and other paperwork up to date• Transcribing interviews• Logging rushes and learning about data management• Research• Clearances & Copyright• Accompanying producers / directors on filming or recording days• Helping to set up and run shoots, issuing call sheets and other production paperwork. • Post production paperwork.Ideally, the successful candidate will hold a Degree or Foundation Degree or Higher Level of Education certificate.Applicant should be:• Reliable and flexible and be able to adapt to varied working environments. • Polite, friendly and enthusiastic.• Willing to undertake new challenges and eager to learn. • Able to take initiative whilst working to the instruction of the rest of the team and keep the rest of the team up dated on progress. • Team player.• Computer literate - It would be beneficial to have good, broad technical skills.• Creatively, culturally and socially aware. • Have a keen interest in the film and television industry. • Welsh Language speaker desirable.• Driving licence / own car preferred.
