Job Introduction

We are looking for a Researcher/Planner for the leading Persian Satellite channel in the world - Manoto TV is part of the Marjan TV Network, which is based in London but targets the Persian speakers globally.
It's the most popular TV channel in Iran and among the Persian speakers in the UK. It has an estimated audience of 15 million.


Role Responsibility:

To support Assistant Producers, Producers and other members of the production team with the research work of the production/s and to work closely at all times to the editorial brief of the Producer.

To create a calendar of events suitable for the production.

To work as part of a strong and effective team, and using your judgement to refer upwards when appropriate.

To work effectively to ensure all content is thoroughly researched and meets the channel's editorial standards.

To collect, verify and prepare information for the production/s and ensure that the factual research and all the information used is accurate.

Source contacts and contributors and assess contributors' suitability for the programme; researching and booking appropriate people and locations.

Providing research to production staff in a clear, concise format/fact sheets

To work on live and pre-recorded programming.
