We are looking for a Researcher for a new BBC documentary series about the criminal justice system, to be filmed from soon until late 2011. We are looking for a sensitive, sensible and highly committed Researcher who would be part of a small team working inside and outside British jails. We're looking for someone who has the potential to take on a responsible role working closely with contributors on location in delicate situations but also can reliably carry out a range of administrative tasks. This is a job for someone who's got a real enthusiasm for documentary film-making and it's a good opportunity to consolidate research skills. We will be able to offer a 11 months contract, from Feb 2012 to Jan 2013, and we can offer a salary of £350 to £400 per week (dependent on experience) for this period. Self shooting skills are desirable but not essential.
