Role & ResponsibilitiesReporting to the iFeatures Executive Producer, you will:• Provide project management support as required during all phases of the initiative.• Take overall responsibility for the organisational and administrative needs of the initiative, including maintaining and developing appropriate systems, liaising over relevant financial and legal matters, negotiating with suppliers and providing up-to-date reporting/monitoring information as required.• Manage the iFeatures' submissions process. This will include organising a programme of UK-wide roadshows, responding to queries from potential applicants, managing the application and assessment process via our GIFTS database, liaising with script readers, arranging selection panels, assisting with contracting, etc.• Work closely with the iFeatures Executive Producer in ensuring the efficient and responsive management of projects/teams developed within the initiative. • Manage the iFeatures website working closely with our web agency and social media partners. This would including ensuring the website is up to date, using a simple CMS system, blogging about iFeatures via channels such as Facebook and Twitter (a passion for social media is a must), providing support and guidance to iFeatures participants on their social media presences. • Work closely with the iFeatures Training Manager in ensuring the effective delivery of any associated mentoring, professional development and placement programmes. • Act as a first point of contact for iFeatures participants, giving support and advice as needed.• Act as a first point of contact for iFeatures funders and partners, providing updates, feedback and reporting as needed and enhancing key relationships at a regional and national level.• Oversee screenings, masterclasses, seminars and other outreach events aimed at sharing the skills, knowledge and contacts generated by iFeatures.• Work closely with the SWS communications team in promoting both the initiative and the individual films, alongside our web and social media strategies. • Actively contribute to the broader impacts of the iFeatures initiative including building effective networks, disseminating knowledge, raising aspiration, enhancing skills and brokering industry relationships.Personal ProfileYou will be confident and proactive with an overriding commitment to excellence in everything you do. You will already have at least two years related experience working in film/TV that may include experience as a production coordinator or assistant to a producer.Skills and Experience • Excellent organizational and project management skills.• Excellent communications skills.• The ability to liaise with and support creative people with varying degrees of experience. • A good understanding and appreciation of the demands of film/TV development and production.• Ability to work on several details of a project at the same time whilst still co-ordinating the big picture. • A good knowledge and understanding of IT database and reporting systems.• A good knowledge and understanding of CMS, Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms.• Flexible as to working arrangements if required.Working Arrangements and Remuneration Starting in late February 2012, the post is offered in two distinct phases: • A full-time, 10 month fixed term contract to cover the submissions, selection, development and main training phases of iFeatures 2.
