A small independent production company urgently needs a general assistant. The job is multi-faceted, combining office administration with assisting production teams and some development research.

The post will suit a graduate who has at least a year's experience working in the media and who is keen to learn more about all aspects and stages of television production. You must be organised and self-confident.

As an office administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office. This requires good IT skills for general use; you are also likely to be required to update the website and deploy social media.

Production teams may need help with almost anything - especially fact checking, logistics problems and post-production administration.

Development research will involve investigating new ideas, writing brief research reports, talking to experts on the phone and assisting with writing proposals.
