"Rip Off Britain" returns for its fourth series at a time when the country is still living in an economic downturn. The battle to protect our hard earned cash has never been more crucial, so "Rip Off Britain" will again expose the rip-offs, sharp practice, and common pitfalls experienced by consumers every day, at the same time offering practical advice and solutions on how to avoid being stung.

Role

You'll be an experienced Production Manager and required to work in close partnership with the Series Producer and other colleagues to deliver this tough, distinctive series by providing the ways to realise editorial ambitions within tight operational and financial constraints. You'll need to bring effective leadership and play a key role in managing a large team and must be able to create workable, effective systems in order to help deliver this complex series.

Requirements

Applicants with experience of working within Production Management are encouraged to apply. You'll need a thorough, in-depth knowledge of the production processes and of working in a fast, high pressured TV environment as well as very good interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be able to work well in a team and under pressure as the production has strict deadlines. Production work can involve long and unpredictable work patterns and therefore will require a flexible and adaptable approach to work. You must be meticulous in attention to detail on this production and the successful candidate must support, develop and maintain the BBC's Values and Behaviours to create a culture where staff feel informed, valued and empowered to give their best.
