Experience RequiredWe are looking for a production manager to work in our London based office, managing the logistics for shoots around the country. We travel all over the UK gathering specialist content, conversations with members of the public, which are showcased on our cutting edge digital platform, a hugely flexible web tool that revolutionizes how video can be accessed, categorised and viewed. The unique platform allows companies to see real-life conversations with everyday people. This is an exciting new company, leading the way in the next generation video research world.We are currently filming The Big Sofa in various locations around the UK, including shopping centres, markets, and fairs. We want to start filming at music festivals, pubs, village fetes, football clubs as well as the locations we currently film in. The production manager will be responsible for: - Working to a budget and arranging filming days each month at locations that we currently use and gaining permission to film in these locations- Organising crew members to ensure that the required crew is booked for each location - Finding and arranging new locations to film in- Putting together call sheets for each location, including a schedule and providing crew members with the call sheet for each shoot. - Being in charge of the kit list for each shoot, ensuring all kit is sent on location (including memory cards) and returns from location. Keeping the equipment in good order. - Booking train tickets for the crew in advance of crew members travelling. - Ordering camera equipment ahead of each filming day - Ordering tea and coffee equipment ahead of each filming day, keeping a list of stock (tea, coffee, hot chocolate)- The production manager will need to start with arranging 5 days of filming per month and move on to 10 days later in the year. Experience and Requirements:- 2-3 years experience working as a production manager on multiple nationwide shoots. - Experience of working with crew members, producer and assistant producers - Experience managing several projects/crews at once- The production manager will love a challenge and will want to be responsible for managing a project. - The ability think strategically and to see creative solutions to problems - The ability to take own initiative, work to a brief and make decisions without much direction. - Working to a budget- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure For more information visit our website.Apply via PB
