Production Coordinator

London

Our Consumer and Digital Development team is looking for a motivated and creative Studio Production Coordinator to join on a 12 month fixed term contract. You'll work across our much-loved brands - Penguin, Puffin, Ladybird, Penguin Platform, Michael Joseph, Ebury, Cornerstone, Penguin Press, Vintage, as well as our corporate comms team and growing interest brands, Dead Good and The Happy Foodie.

Reporting in to the Senior A/V Producer in the Penguin Random House Creative Solutions studio, you will be helping to deliver a consistent and quality production output and ensuring that our brands are seen as innovative and engaging.

There will be project meetings where the team can brainstorm on how to make the big ideas happen and you'll assist in the production process, which means getting your fingers into all of the pies.

You'll ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time, and with the right equipment, and making sure we're working to the timescale. You'll help secure locations for shooting and maintain the equipment.

On the people side of things, you'll be the point of contact between the production team and the other departments. We want you to help create a new tool for people to book the production team, and you'll also liaise with internal stakeholders on the best and most cost-effective solution for their needs. You'll need to keep all relevant parties updated on progress, and handle feedback in a coherent and timely manner. You'll also need experience working with children and organising CRB checks and release forms.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bring out the best in other people. You'll need to be detail orientated, even under tight deadlines and with limited resources, and passionate about the creative process. Strong IT skills and familiarity with computer packages such as Microsoft Office are essential, and an understanding of social media marketing would be a bonus. If you're an excellent communicator and interested in books and authors and connecting audiences to the two, this is the role for you.

Please apply with a CV and cover letter by Sunday 23rd April.
