Summary of RoleExperienced Production Co-ordinator required to co-ordinate crews, shoots and provide a point of contact for the various programming teams within the department. This is a truly multiplatform venture with various future prospects and challenges.You should have experience working within a facilities environment and have knowledge of sports media production.You will be central in shaping Performs increased production output, and be prepared to assist in all aspects of content production and planning. Flexibility will be required as it will be necessary to work some unsocial hours.You will be based in our Feltham office so it is essential, due to the nature of the hours, that you can arrange your journey to and from work and not be reliant on public transport.Responsibilities: • Attending daily, weekly and monthly planning meetings with in-house and international teams.• Working with and assisting in the future planning and management of sports diary - and associated scheduling• Maintaining communication with delivery partners, suppliers and clients• Basic knowledge of media law, copyright and law of libel an advantage• An understanding and interest in sports, particularly rugby is an advantage• Arranging OBs and ENG shoots (in-house and external suppliers),carnets, travel, managing floats, stock orders, • Arranging crew contracts in conjunction with HR & booking contractors• Conduct health & safety checks, risk assessments, release forms• Assisting the PM with the tracking of costs for each event.Experience/Skills• Excellent Communicator at all levels• Languages a huge advantage• Excellent sports knowledge and interest in sports news production essential• Must be able to work well within a team and have strong organisational skills.• Able to work under pressure and to manage own workload and schedule• Must be pro-active and possess a meticulous attention to detail.• Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment • To be well organised and be able to manage time effectively• Experience of broadcast bookings an advantage• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Avid editing platforms• Diplomacy and sensitivity when working with clients• Used to working towards deadlines and being able to think on your feet • Flexibility with working hours when required• An ability to learn and take on new roles in order to develop
