Is this the role for you? The Producer, Milkshake! is responsible for content production featuring the Milkshake! Presenting team for daily linear and non-linear transmission. In this role they will produce short form episodes and promotional content and produce, direct, and edit quality creative studio content that delivers on the editorial and commercial objectives of the brand to inspire our audience to watch and love the output and to drive, maintain and improve ratings that deliver on agreed performance targets. They are required to produce, direct, and edit material and deliver for transmission to meet Broadcast deadlines. They will have a pre-school editorial and creative view and have experience in producing and directing a presenting team on location and in a studio environment. What will you be doing? Working with the Senior Producer and Milkshake! production team to deliver all studio output and initiatives including recorded links, shorts, promotions to drive the content priorities and ratingsWork in the Milkshake! production team to create, plan, script, produce and execute weekly continuity links, short form, themes and initiatives for on-air and socialDevelop, plan, create and deliver content (stunts/short form/series) from concept, filming, through to delivery for linear and non-linear platforms, using Adobe Premiere from concept, edit, graphic, VO to final delivery to drive ratings and aligned with channel plansSource music and obtain all clearances, administer music cue sheets for reporting in systemDirect continuity links and location shootsManage production crew and talent on location and in studioEnsure the delivery of all content to be on time and in budget, to broadcast operations for transmissionMange health and safety relating to studio and location filmingEnsure all content meets Ofcom regulations, music clearance and reporting requirements and adheres to technical broadcasting standardsProduce content to high standards and within the Children's Welfare and Health & Safety filming guidelines for ParamountEnsure the completion of all paperwork related to content delivery and edits, Risk Assessments, Call Sheets, Studio and audio bookings, Children's Regulations and H&S filming protocolsProduce and direct short form series as instructed with overall responsibility to plan pre-production, research, scripting, filming, edit, compliance, GFX,VO, to delivery within agreed programme objectives, creative style, budget and targets, leading production team and talent on locationProvide cover for the Senior Producer for the administrative process with the Milkshake! production team to plan, script and produce the make list and weekly continuity links and plan promotions, short form and interstitial contentGenerate ideas to expand the brand and commercial opportunities, working with commercial, consumer products and events teams to ensure the best in-class activations for the live stage tour and magazineBuild relationships with internal/external partners and producers on content ideas to drive Milkshake! as the destination for the best content for UK kids and coordinate legal agreements and terms and conditions in relation to execution of the content What are we looking for? Vast experience in creative/producer TV production and live studio experience, preferably in UK preschool marketExcellent script writing and editing of own scripts and freelance Presenters/ProducersExperience crafting running orders, production paperwork and leading productionsAbility to make engaging, funny, curious promotional content for the preschool audienceSolid TV production and live studio experience in a fast paced television environment, preferably in UK preschool marketManagement of presenting and production team that delivers fun, upbeat and engaging content to tight deadlinesExperience directing multi-camera in studio and single camera on locationExperience working with children on location and in studioExperience of editing, post-production, audio, VO and graphicsStrong editorial visionStrong understanding of operational and production requirementsLeadership and management skillsHardworking, articulate, creative and ability to champion ideasKnowledge of the UK kids programme market and current channels' outputGood knowledge of Ofcom broadcast regulations and working with children guidelinesWorking knowledge of broadcasting research and digital analyticsWorking knowledge of the importance of rights/copyright/clearance issuesExperience of budget and contract managementGood I.T.
