Producer

Central London

Production

· Responsible for project management and delivery of all ITN education videos on time and on budget

· Develop and enhance the editorial quality and integrity of programming

· Responsible for tracking all archive footage and fresh footage with appropriate edit lists and references. You must be very organised and adept with spreadsheets

· Product development - coming up with new ideas for video structure and storytelling

· Recruitment of production freelancers including editors and presenters, must have their own reliable contacts.

· Build and maintain freelance database, lead on communications to crew and other freelancers

· Resolving client, staff and freelancer production issues

· Responsible for video sign-off

· Developing and instigating new systems and workflows to increase efficiencies with the team

· Develop themes of videos in conjunction with Head of ITN education and clients in production meetings

· Ability to ask the right questions to ensure you fully understand the upcoming projects

· Ensure quality control across all programming

· Editorial responsibility and planning for all video production Organise logistics of media with Post Production team

· Leads production element of weekly meetings and conducts further briefings with Producer / Editors

· Set up new project folders in cloud based systems such as Google Drive, and keep all documents saved in the places

· Responsibility for studio recordings, including set up, management, liaise with crew, director and presenter

· Responsibility for smooth running of workflows, spotting trends, issues and opportunities for improvement

· Book editors, edit suites and manage edit diary



Financial

· Responsibly for hitting cost targets and margins, signing off and approving invoices

· Enter projected costs into Cost Trackers

· Maintain cost trackers, ensuring they are up to date weekly

· Keep Client Progress document up to date

· Liaise with finance on production budgets and cost savings





Client/Account Management

· Make client contact after receiving a brief from Head of ITN education, set time and date for the meeting

· Lead client production meetings

· Negotiate with and manage client expectations over changes and revisions of treatments, scripts and films

· Liaise with clients to arrange delivery to highest standard possible

· Create and maximise business development opportunities with ITN education clients

· Support client satisfaction measurement





Key Attributes/Qualifications

· Track record and evidence of producing high quality corporate or educational short videos

· Knowledge of legal compliance of programming and rights check complaints

· Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously

· Experience working in a fast-paced environment

· Creative and innovative

· Strong initiative and ability to work well autonomously

· Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Microsoft Excel

· An interest in education
