Home to some of the UK's best-loved radio stations such as Heart, Capital and Classic FM, to name a few, we keep over 24 million listeners tuned in and entertained each week.

And that's just for starters; we also manage some of the best musical talent around, publish some of the biggest tracks in the charts, and run two of the freshest music TV channels there are.
Simply put, we're obsessed with radio, music and entertainment - welcome to Global!

What it's all about:

The Technology & Operations teams are fundamental to the success of our business being able to run 24/7. You will be assisting the Director and core senior management team, ensuring day to day admin duties are taken care of, taking ownership over all team events and being the first point of contact for our key suppliers.

You will also provide ad hoc support to the COO, assisting him during busier periods and helping him keep on top of his diary.

Reporting to the Director of Technology & Operations, you will be working in our dynamic office in the heart of London.

What you'll be doing:

You'll provide ad hoc support to the COO with diary management, assisting with key meetings and dealing with any changes efficiently.
You'll support the wider Senior Management Team of Technology & Operations with any travel arrangements, and ad hoc project support.
You'll take a lead role in organising all technology events, workshops and strategy away days.
You'll help facilitate and contribute to team meetings, following up with any actions required.
You'll support all training initiatives, assist the senior management team with any recruitment admin and ensure all new starters are properly integrated.
You'll help compile the monthly Technology & Operations board report and create presentations for internal and external use in Global style using Keynote.
You'll be confident in being a good ambassador both internally and externally.
You'll support charity initiatives for Global's Make Some Noise; running a successful team auction and coming up with new ideas to raise money.
And finally, you'll develop brilliant relationships with the PA's, in particular the PA to CEO and PA to Founder.

You'll have these skills:

Experience in a similar position, ideally within a media environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
A keen interest in Technology, with an eagerness to learn about the industry.
