We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our fast growing and transatlantic television company. Our groundbreaking output covers specialist factual, factual entertainment and entertainment shows. We are looking for someone fabulous to oversee the office, Edit Suites and Reception team. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-• Day to day office issues - building maintenance, IT, telecoms, utilities etc.• Liaising with building Landlord• Overseeing new office refit and move (same building)• Organising company events (weekly drinks, pub outings, Wrap parties etc.)• Management of office petty cash• Supervision of key log• Open and close office in conjunction with Reception team• Supervision of equipment log (laptops, mobile phones, cameras)• Ordering of office supplies - stationery, kitchen etc.• General communications to Nutopia UK office email group• Manage holiday and sickness log• Collate new starter information for monthly payroll• Manage Contacts database for office suppliers• Liaise with contractors (cleaners, alarm company etc.)• New starters system - set up IT, desk, phone, induction etc.• Manage desk space consulting with Line Managers• All office health & safety issues - risk assessments, first aid, fire evacuation and liaise with H&S Advisor on any issues• Chair weekly office management meeting and update action list• Overseeing office storage• Overseeing Edit Suites• Maintain Talent Database• Manage all company press & publicityA minimum of 3 years experience in an office/event management role is essential as is working well and quickly under pressure and having a good eye for detail. We are looking for someone hard-working who is happy to muck in with a can-do attitude and a great sense of humour! TV or Film experience is preferred but not essential. We need someone to start ASAP for a handover with our current Office Manager. We select candidates solely on the basis of merit.
