Job Description

Working within an Internationally recognised Media/Sports organisation this is a great opportunity for an individual who sees themself as a "non typical accountant". This role sits within a business unit and requires a strong relationship developing individual who has relevant management accounting experience. This role is interesting, varied and will be continuously evolving! Great, commercially focused role!!

The role:

- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts;
- Managing the accruals & prepayments;
- Balance Sheet and P&L accounts;
- Analysis of variances between actuals and projections, providing commentary on variances;
- Preparation of budgets & forecasts;
- Manage the invoicing of royalties;
- Ensuring revenue recognition of all licensing agreements;
- Sales reporting - margin & profitability analysis.


The person:

- Would suit a part qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent);
- Must have exceptional communication skills with the ability to build solid working relationships;
- Excellent Excel skills, knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage;
- Previous management accounting skills are essential;
- Experience within the Media industry;
- Licensing and/or royalties experience is highly desirable.
