With the Olympics fast approaching we are looking to expand our team of kit technicians and location assistants. With the increased volume of work we will need bright and enthusiastic professionals to prep camera, lighting and sound kits to clients across the UK, as we'll as providing onsite support.

This is the perfect job if you are looking to get into such areas as the camera and sound deparments. Candidates will be trained up in a broad range of kits used throughout the industry.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience within a dry hire facility, and will be confident with both SD and HD Sony broadcast cameras as well as other manufacturers broadcast equipment.
They will also have a good understanding of video formats, the basics of lighting and sound and simple production values.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Preparing cameras and supporting kit for hire,
- Delivering and collecting kit from clients .
- Assisting Kitroom Manager with hire co-ordination
- Eventual assistance on location supporting Staff and Freelance crew

Also they will display the following personal skills:
- Excellent communication
- Motivation and enthusiasm
- Ability to work professionally with clients and staff alike
- Good sense of humor and a positive attitude towards work

Candidates must also have a full UK driving license - and be comfortable driving vans (sometimes over long distances).
This is a shift based job which includes being on call for one weekend a month. Candidates must be prepared to sometimes work long and unsociable hours.
This is a permanent position, interviews will be held as soon as possible.
