A+E Networks UK is the leading broadcaster of high-quality, ground-breaking channels HISTORY, Crime & Investigation Network, BIO, and MILITARY HISTORY. As innovators we've launched some of the UK's first HD channels, we're already producing 3D specials to amaze our viewers and we're extending our channel portfolio across Europe, the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa.

We are currently looking for someone to support the development and production of effective and innovative: on-air promotions and campaigns, off-air marketing tapes, sponsorship credits, interstitials, home entertainment and short-form programming for all our brands. This will be done with appropriate support and supervision from senior members of the Creative team.

You will be required to select, edit (including packaging, when required) and distribute programme clips, as briefed by Marketing, Digital Marketing and Digital Media teams. Additionally you will conceive, script and produce on-air promos and other creative projects, to both verbal and written briefs. And under the supervision of the Head of Creative, re-version existing promos (oversee edits, direct voice-overs) for all UK channels and Virgin TV.

Working closely with the Heads of Creative, Head of Production, Creative Producers, production companies and Marketing, you will develop creative work, ensuring that production, technical and legal delivery requirements are met. You will also work closely with other key internal departments to meet and improve working practices and to build and improve relationships with internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will need to have good communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), as well as good technical knowledge and a keen interest in new technology developments. Television production experience or demonstration of creative production skills is crucial. You need to be accurate and calm under pressure and demonstrate the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
