We are seeking a Junior AV/Events Technician to work on-site full time at a customer location in London. Our client is one of the World's leading luxury Fashion brands and is well known for being a fast paced working environment that adopts a young, innovative and dynamic culture. The individual will be part of a team who are the primary interface between Dreamtek and their customer and will require a good, basic understanding of AV and technical knowledge with a preference geared more towards vision mixing/engineering. ResponsibilitiesBe an integral part of a team providing technical production support to a number of high profile event production spaces on-site as well as store supportSupervised operation and support of event production spaces operating camera, sound and lighting equipmentUnsupervised operation and support of basic events including presentation setup, mic'ing speakers, and touch and go serviceWork with other AV technicians to improve your own and the team's understanding of the clients capabilities and to share experiences, issues, and resolutions for different situations & problemsAssist team in event load ins and setup of equipmentUnderstand and practice Health and Safety regulations in an Audio Visual environment.Desirable Skills & Experience- 1 + years AV experience with a degree or foundation course in media, broadcast or AV- Understanding signal flow both in audio and video applications. - Adaptable, flexible and willingness to learn - Have excellent technical skills and be familiar with the main AV equipment types i.e black magic atem desk, PTZ cameras etc- Possesses good IT & creative skills- Be able to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative- Be willing to continually update and improve knowledge and skills- Be client facing- Strong desire to learn new technologies and solutions- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with internal staff and external clients- Ability to work with tight and aggressive deadlines - Ability to work under pressure and to resolve issues diplomatically and calmly- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs- Previous experience working with a fashion brand is preferable but no essentialIf you feel you meet the criteria above then we'd love to hear from you.
