Contract: 12 Months FTC

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Good Morning Britain and Lorraine team as our Green Room Assistant for ITV Breakfast. You will be kept busy preparing for the arrival of presenters, guests and contributors by ensuring they are looked after and prepared for the programme.

Reporting to the Green Room Host, you will also work closely with the production teams, be across all planned showbiz and news guests to ensure the guest requirements are met and riders are fully prepared. You will assist the Green Room Host in managing the budget for the green room, refresh hospitality accordingly to dietary requirements and attend meetings with our editorial team.

You will manage the signing and collation of release and consent forms, handle a large volume of paperwork and answer queries. A large amount of phone calling is required, so you must have a organised and systematic approach. This will be an office based role after the programme where you will liaise with the Production Management, Editorial and Finance teams in ensuring that payments are made and correct paperwork is filled out.

It would be advantageous in your previous experience to have some budgetary experience but this is not essential. With your strong interpersonal skills you will be highly organised, self-motivated and confident in your approach. Ideally, you will have experience working in a live TV environment, however this is not essential. You may be required to work away on location from time to time and at weekends when required. Good Morning Britain and Lorraine are both breakfast shows so you will be required to work early shifts. The current start time for this role is 04.45AM so you must be a 'Morning' person - (start times are subject to change re programme requirements).
