WRITER-DIRECTOR TO WORK WITH TOP PRODUCERS

We are currently working on the final stages of developing an adaptation of a classic story by a very famous, absolutely legendary American author. The story is re-set in contemporary London and will be offered to A-list cast. The story is an American Wedding Party in London that is both passionate and funny. It has 'One Wedding and A Funeral' in the story, and is a romantic drama very much in the lavish style of 'The Great Gatsby' (Robert Redford, Mia Farrow).

This position is offered on contract to a Writer-Director who is happy to work with the Producers and Writer to package the project ready for filming this Summer. We have small development funds.

The Director we are looking for must have GOOD FEATURE EXPERIENCE and ideally has worked with some well known cast before ie good screen credits. Passion and enthusiasm helps! Our Producers have contacts with many A-list stars eg Al Pacino, Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johanson, Lindsay Lohan, etc whom we can cast as soon as the script is ready for production. The Writer is BAFTA trained and flexible - she is happy to re-write in collaboration with the Director. The script has been fully drafted and 100% story-boarded.

Casting would be the next stage. Very tight schedule and final budget estimated $6m subject to packaging and talent attached. Aiming also for big hotels sponsorship funding and also might be filmed partly on location in Luxembourg for funding purposes.
