Executive Producer

London

To create and lead production of outstanding, diverse, distinctive, multi-platform and commercially successful short form content within operational, financial and legal constraints.

Key responsibilities:

To work with the MultiStory Media Head of Documentaries and Current Affairs to set and maintain production and editorial standards, leading the overall creative management of several short form series.
To provide creative leadership to the editorial team, guiding them through production of the documentaries, demonstrating sound editorial judgement and subject sensitivity within editorial guidelines throughout.
To line manage and work collaboratively with a Series Producer to visually drive content both in terms of style, scripting and structure encouraging innovation, on-going creative renewal and high production values.
To work closely with production management and finance colleagues to manage and mitigate events as they arise through production and take appropriate action.
To work closely with ITV Commissioners to deliver the very best content.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate the following skills:


Minimum role criteria:

A demonstrable track record in delivering content (including short form) for factual and factual entertainment programming for a major broadcaster.
Proven ability to contribute to the development process with a range of new and viable short form ideas.
Previous experience working on short form content for social media and broadcast TV.
Demonstrable ability to show a resourceful and solution-focussed approach to achieving editorial ambition within budgetary and legal constraints.
An understanding of the Ofcom code and any production related legislation.
Experience of working with Black and/or Disabled, and/or Deaf, and/or Neurodivergent programme makers and working with diverse production talent.
Proven ability to manage all people issues (both on and off-screen talent) with tact and diplomacy making a conscious effort to build rapport to ensure the smooth running a series.
Excited to be working on programmes that are being specifically commissioned as part of Black History Month and Disability History Month.
