Role

As Events Producer you will be an integral member of the College of Production team; working to the manager of Creativity and Special Projects to devise and deliver a coherent, compelling and relevant programme of events which tie-in with and promote the work of the College of Production and the Academy.

The events could take a range of forms, from conference style summits, to lunchtime talks and lectures, to open public events exploring a range of topics pertinent to the Broadcast industries. They should take place at BBC venues around the UK, and all year round. As Events producer you will also be expected to produce sessions, panels or masterclasses that represent the BBC Academy at major TV festivals.

Requirements

You will have proven experience of producing first-class events relating to broadcasting and media, with wide and extensive network of contacts across broadcasting and media as well as a strong track record of programming seasons of events and flair for high-quality production values.
