Digital Producer

The content team is responsible for producing a mixture of highly engaging content from news, short-form social, match action, behind-the-scenes, documentaries, in-depth analysis, branded content, and live broadcasts.

This content is seen across all Club digital and social platforms, broadcast globally, shown within the stadium on a match day as well as syndicated to partners and external media.

The Club is seeking an experienced Digital Producer with a specialism in video to join its already-successful team.

The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of social media platforms and the way in which video can be exploited in order to drive growth and engagements on all Club channels. They will have the necessary camera and editing skills to produce a variety of content types tailored to each platform accordingly.

Supported by both the production teams video specialists and the Social Media team's knowledge of Club channels, this role bridges the gap between production and social media to create content most likely to engage and drive channel growth.

The candidate will be required to work Men and Women's First Team matches and other selected fixtures around the academy, so a flexible individual is sought. In addition, it is desirable that candidates hold a full driving license and own transport. The ability to travel between THFC sites is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce a variety of digital and social first content for the content teams catalogue of channels.
Create engaging and shareable made-for-social content, whether planned and structured, or quick and reactive.
Work with the wider social and production teams to create, request, commission, or repurpose existing material as appropriate for each platform.
Monitor social trends and identify key opportunities for creative productions within social video.
Work as part of a team to ideate and execute various feature content in the clubs organised content sessions.
Work closely with the production management team to organise shoots, gain permissions and update production schedules across relevant workstreams.
Support all other departments across the Club including but not limited to marketing, PR, communications and retail with filming and editing requirements.
Contribute to the overall maintenance of camera equipment and identify, source and pitch new technology or methods that may improve quality or open new creative opportunities.
Flexible with working hours and happy to work evenings including home and away matchdays.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Proven experience working within content production with a focus on social media as a content creator or similar.
The knowledge of how to create attention-grabbing, social-first content for a variety of platform including creating hooks and delivering in the various ratios.
Have the necessary skills to create video content using a variety of techniques, including cinema cameras, DSLR, and mobile content for various channels as required.
Candidates would be expected to have at least intermediate video camera operation and edit skills (ideally Adobe Premiere).
Knowledge of key footballing territories, their audiences, and their idiosyncrasies
Experienced user of Facebook, X, Instagram and other core social platforms.
Sound editorial judgement.
A finger on the pulse in terms of industry trends and formats that are resonating with our fan base.
Well organised with a high attention to detail.
Live streaming experience and knowledge is an advantage.
