Job Description
Can you think big?
Development Researcher Trainee Scheme
We are looking for two exceptional individuals who can apply their creativity to help us develop ideas in written and visual forms.
If you've ever watched the Apprentice you'll have a good idea of the kind of ways of working we expect! One day you might be pitching an idea to a corporate client, another helping create a taster video for our Development Producer. You might even dress up as Harry the Hare or Toto the Tortoise and help our Sales Director sell our CBeebies animation at an international TV market in the South of France.
We'd like to hear from anyone who thinks they have great ideas and can prove that they have the skills to get these ideas off the ground.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with video editing and graphic design experience as well as people who have studied English or Education to degree level.
The initial training scheme is a 12 week contract and takes place from 20th September 2010 to 17th December 2010. Contracts may be extended into 2011 as a result of the development work. The roles are based in our offices in Wendover, near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Candidates must be prepared to live in the region for the period of the contract.
The salary is £15,000 pro rata.
Please send CV's together with 3 reasons why you think you should get the job.
Non-graduates should apply as an intern via www.backingyoungbritain.co.uk
The deadline for applications to be received is Monday 16th August.
For selected applicants, interviews will be held on either 25th or 26th August 2010 in Wendover.
