Creative Production Manager

London

Urgent role! Are you an expert in managing scripted series productions? Great opportunity for an experienced Creative Manager to make their mark!
Our client requires a Manager to oversee scripted series productions; namely kids drama with the core target 7-11 year olds. The ideal candidate will be very well connected in the industry with strong managerial skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills and solid experience of digital content and episodic digital content. Must have a real connection with the target audience.

The role involves:

Serve as the lead creative executive for new content projects
Serve as point of contact between the regional office and local markets to share info and collaborate in their development and production projects.
Focus on creation and production of content for digital platforms.
In accordance with approved schedules and budgets, work closely with both internal and external partners to push for maximum possible creative quality and production values while delivering on time and on budget.
Develop strategies to support network activity and initiatives for new series.
Oversee all creative aspects of assigned projects from development stages (as needed) through pre-production, production and post-production, to deliver against the agreed creative vision.
Manage and mentor junior staff as needed to develop their skills.
Keep track of all the territories development and production activities.

Responsibilities:

Provide timely, coherent, structured feedback and notes to talent and producers throughout the production process.
Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external production partners.
Negotiate creative differences with production partners.
Review all production materials including premises, outlines, scripts, rough cuts, final composites and/or sound mixes as agreed for each project.
Ensure all Standard & Practices considerations are being observed throughout the production.
Keep internal stakeholders updated with creative progress and highlight any issues that may affect the budget, schedule, and/or quality of the series.
Represent company point of view and creative goals to producers. Uphold network standards and production guidelines.
Collaborate with talent, music, interactive, CP, distribution as necessary.
Implement strategies to support tentpoles, specials and new opportunities.
Support content development for all platforms; brainstorm new applications, uses, strategies, etc.

Experience Required:

Substantial, proven experience at Manager level within original/current series
Sufficient experience in "Current/Original Series"
Strong creative reputation and strong network of contacts and relationships
Experienced in development and production of long form and short form content for digital platforms.
Exemplary writing skills and knowledge of script structure
Ability to manage and direct creative talent
Knowledge of target audience and interest in entertainment geared at the demographic
