Responsibilities / Accountabilities

* News gathering
* Coverage of the UK
* React quickly and appropriately to major news stories
* Generate story ideas on a daily and weekly basis
* Long term planning as well as reacting quickly to emerging stories
* Working as a team player with your fellow Correspondents
* Develop contacts across the board from politics to lifestyle
* Contribute to the Website with a daily blog
* Develop relationships with Producers, Editors and Futures department
