We are looking for an experienced Content Producer to join our Global Video Production (GVP) team in the Marketing department at our Manchester Studio. As a member of the GVP team, you will own the video production process from conception to completion across a variety of marketing promotions and events.

Cloud Imperium Games is a fast-paced video gaming company on the cutting edge of technology. We release linear content daily to our growing fan base - everything from behind-the-scenes videos on the creation of the game to Q&A with our developers and other exciting content. This is all hosted on our website, YouTube channel, social media platforms and livestream.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the video production process, and be comfortable with creative notes, scheduling, and budgets. You possess the ability to plan ahead, think creatively, identify issues/roadblocks, and develop plans to prevent or minimize their impact on production. You are able to utilize budgets and schedules to protect and foster creativity. It's not just about coming in on-time and under-budget, it's a matter of applying your experience to support and unlock creative potential.

What does a Content Producer at CIG do?

Lead selected video projects through all phases of production. Including creative development, pre-production, production/shooting, post-production, finishing/delivery, and wrap.
Build open lines of communication between internal teams for Editorial, Gameplay Capture, and Stakeholders, providing status updates and collecting feedback.
Scope, develop and maintain production schedules and budgets.
Coordinate efforts of shared resources from both internal departments and external vendors across domestic and international time zones.
Support and elevate the creative process by implementing production & operational efficiencies.
Manage purchase orders (POs), Statement of Work (SOW), Master Contract Agreement (MCA), invoices and overall communication with external vendors.

What do we expect from our Content Producer?

A good amount of industry experience as a Producer for Creative Branded Content within Marketing, Advertising, Entertainment or Gaming industries.
Thorough knowledge of production & post-production pipelines for promotional, scripted, and documentary video content.
Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to easily adapt to changing mandates and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects across various disciplines and time zones.
Knowledge of project management, calendar, and budgeting software.

This role will report to the Director, Video Production (Marketing/GVP) and work collaboratively with the creative video production team, editorial, gameplay capture artists, marketing producers, community team, department leads and various internal stakeholders at Cloud Imperium.
