Do you have a love for VOD? Do you want to coordinate and manage the VOD delivery for Nickelodeon to our major platforms; you need to have a strategic mind-set and the ability to bring new ideas and be a great communicator.

The team

The Multi-Platform Programming department is responsible for the planning, management and communication of Nickelodeon UK's non-linear programming content across a number of platforms. It is one of five teams that make up the Programming department. They include, Programme Acquisition and Development, Channel Strategy, Planning and Scheduling, Compliance and Access services and Media Planning. In essence the Programming department sources, schedules and promotes great content to attract the maximum number of viewers to Nickelodeon UK's portfolio of channels, linear and non-linear.

What will you be doing:
• Manage day-to-day queries as first point of contact for Nickelodeon UK Multi-platform programming plans and strategies
• Manage relationship with platform editorial teams. Meet quarterly to communicate Nickelodeon UK's upcoming plans and priorities across linear and non-linear. Ensure all requirements and obligations are being met and resolve issues as and when they arise (e.g. communicate catch-up schedule amendments, based on linear-amendments)
• Manage and implement platform catch-up and library schedules, and DTO services
• Plan long-form programming rollout for Nickelodeon branded platforms (e.g. Nick Play)
• Coordinate with Nickelodeon UK Marketing team to communicate upcoming VOD plans and strategies and align content support and priorities
• Coordinate with VOD deliveries team to ensure all Nickelodeon UK VOD content is being delivered in a timely and accurate manner and resolve any outstanding issues as and when they arise
• Manage Multi-platform Programming Coordinator role, conducting appraisals and identifying training opportunities
• Oversee accurate completion of weekly blackout reports and communication to platforms
• Liaise with Nickelodeon UK Legal team on rights and availability for VOD content planning (catch-up and library)
• Attend VOD Operations meetings to discuss and feedback on any upcoming workflow changes or outstanding issues with platforms
• Attend VOD Commercial meeting for updates on platform service requirements
• Track performance of Nickelodeon UK non-linear platforms and services (where data is available)
• Work with Multi-platform Director to develop yearly goals and strategies for all Nickelodeon UK non-linear platforms and develop action plan for how to achieve these
• Work with VIMN Strategy team and Multi-platform Director to develop and track yearly DTO revenue objectives
• Work with VIMN Commercial and Strategy teams and Multi-platform Director to review brand needs, improve contract terms and maximise non-linear opportunities

You will have:
• Passionate about TV and creating its future
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills
• Great communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of the VOD environment and an informed view on its direction and future
• Previous experience using iTunes
• People Management experience (not essential)
• Proactive
• Flexible
• Strong IT skills [Word, Excel, Powerpoint]
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Project management skills
• An aptitude for systems and workflow process
