As part of Tesco's in-house video team, your role as Broadcast Assistant is to work with the Head of Broadcast and three video producers to make engaging content about one of the world's leading retailers for a range of platforms and audiences.About UsTesco is one of the world's leading retailers, serving millions of customers every day and employing 500,000 people around the globe. Our in-house video team is ideally placed to produce engaging content which tells our stories.The range of content we produce is huge: from how we work with our milk farmers, to behind the scenes of our Christmas ad and key updates from the Executive team. Working closely with both Marketing and Communications teams, our video content is seen by customers, colleagues and external stakeholders alike.About the RoleThis is a relatively junior role within the team, but with the opportunity to learn a broad range of skills and take on plenty of responsibility. You will be involved in identifying story ideas, setting up contributors and arranging filming logistics, scripting and interviewing and helping with the editing process.You will also oversee the sharing of content on a range on internal and external platforms.About YouWould suit a bright, creative and hard-working individual with a journalism degree or background, but who's maybe looking for a bit more job security and will enjoy the pace and variety of working in this complex organisation. You need to be really organised and able to keep lots of plates spinning! The role does involve some travel within the UK and potentially abroad too, and could involve some long days and weekends.
