Our Associate Video Editor plays an essential role in the creation of original and exciting video content. They bring exceptional creative thought and craft output, developing and delivering projects from brief to end user. Located in Farringdon, London, as part of AKQA you will have access to world-renowned thought leadership from influential authors, athletes, artists and entrepreneurs. You will work in a progressive environment that fosters a meritocratic culture, surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields.Key Responsibilities- Work alongside creative teams to create original video content for our clients- Deliver projects within specified time frames- Advise on film-related tasks and support senior Film team members when required- Manage internal filming requirements and carry out research tasks- Help to manage and organise film servers- Stay up to date with current moving image trends- Offer diverse film and music references to inform your work and that of others- Develop a strong technical understanding of the post-production workflow- Develop your knowledge of other areas of film such as sound design, motion graphics and directing- Export, compress and re-format video files- Help to keep film edit suites in good working order Skills and Experience- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar editing software such as Final Cut or Avid)- Experience within the moving image industry- Compelling portfolio of film-related work that demonstrates great passion for the moving image- Fearless, boundlessly creative and relentlessly attentive to detail- Driven to break boundaries and craft the best ideas of their kind in the world
