Associate Social Media Producer

Right now we are looking for an Associate Social Media Producer to join our Live Broadcasting Team in our Commerce Platforms department based at our state of the art Media & Commerce Centre in Chiswick Park, West London. This is a fast paced and diverse role and when we say that two days are never the same, we're not kidding. Just look around our business and it's easy to see why.

Reporting to our Head of Production in this role you will be responsible to drive social interaction between QVC and our audience. This will involve moderating our online shopping community conversations, communicating with the Live Broadcast team and being the primary "go-to" person between our Contact Centre and the studio gallery ensuring efficient delivery of key information to our customers across our live platforms. You'll also be supporting the live show Producer in the gallery.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have a relevant qualification or experience in Media or Communications and have advanced written and verbal English literacy skills.

You'll need to have an excellent working knowledge of Social Media Platforms and TV Production and be able to demonstrate knowledge of current and emerging social media applications including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Periscope.
Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Outlook, major Web Browsers and the ability to become familiar with any new information and social media systems the company introduces is essential.

Awareness of the QVC brand is essential and ideally you'll have an understanding of how commercial retailers function and be able to demonstrate awareness of our competitors and agility in adopting new production techniques.

You'll be a strong communicator and adept at building real relationships with a natural ability to influence others to achieve a common goal.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Office, Preparation & Gallery

To research and collate relevant support material, stocks, sales and selling strategy information and to delivering this to the TV Production team.
Providing the Line Producer with accurate and timely updates on stock levels, phone activity, e-mails, web reviews, additional content, product info and social engagement & interaction, to enhance sales and production values.
To engage and moderate our online communities in relevant conversations throughout the live shows, consistent with QVC values.
Capture and share relevant audio-visual and text-based content to support the live shopping experience.
To support the Producer by ensuring the relevant additional material is available for play out.
To ensure relevant scripts are activated/closed in a timely manner.
To act as the link between the Contact Centre and the Production team.
