We're looking for an Assistant Promo Producer to work in the Creative department of our Worldwide Channels division. The Creative department is responsible for the development and implementation of on-air strategy for EMEA, channel branding and off-air materials for BBC Worldwide Channels. You'll be based in our Media Centre in West London. BBC Worldwide is one of five operating divisions within the Corporation and is the commercial arm - profits from BBC Worldwide business areas are delivered back to the BBC to supplement licence fee funding. BBC Worldwide is a creative, commercial and highly successful business, achieving growth in all areas. Our Worldwide Channels division provides a global platform for the best mix of British TV across factual, entertainment, children's and lifestyle programming. The department will develop and create materials such as on-air promotions sales reels, ad spots and conference reels to promote channels. RoleReporting to the Senior Producer, who reports to the Creative Director, EMEA. the Assistant Promo Producer will be responsible for creating navigational elements such as menus and pointers along with re-versioning existing promos for Worldwide Channels You'll also assist the Senior Producer & Promo Producers on assigned projects. Your duties will also include: Creating navigational elements for BBC Worldwide Channels, EMEA, including writing basic copy and directing voice-overs Assisting the Senior Producer, Producers & Production Coordinator on creative projects including the gathering of materials and re-versioning of promos Working to formal/informal creative briefs. Ensuring output is highly targeted and meets agreed objectives Ensuring all spots are editorially accurate and compliant and in accordance with brand guidelines, as well as technically compliant for playout Ensuring all projects are delivered to fixed deadlines RequirementsYou'll have previous experience of working within a production environment, or similar, and possess strong knowledge of the appropriate production processes. must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment whilst being adaptable and receptive to change in the workplace. Flexibility is essential as this role requires occasional work outside normal office hours including weekends.
