Contract Animation Integrator - Harry Potter the Video Game

ROLE OVERVIEW
We currently have an opening for an Animation Integrator working in the Harry Potter franchise; working directly under the direction of the animation leads. The candidate will create and refine in-game cutscene animation sequences for a major character-action title. The contract is likely to start early March 2010 for 4 months.

The candidate will be responsible for:
•Realising direction and assembling the cutscenes in line with the game script and gameplay
•Working closely with animation leads and the gameplay team
•Sequencing of story-telling elements using proprietary editors

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Experience in 3d packages e.g. Maya and timeline editing packages e.g. After effects/Premiere.
•Proven level assembly ability in a mod package (e.g. Unreal, Hammer)
•In depth knowledge of games across multiple platforms, with an analytical approach to what makes certain features work
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Strong problem solving mentality

A strong knowledge of animation and cinematography advantageous.
