About Rupert Davies

I'm an experienced Archive Producer / Picture Researcher based in Scotland. I've worked in TV for over 18 years, primarily for ITV and also other Independent Production Companies.

I've been involved with all of the flagship morning and daytime shows at ITV, most recently working remotely for "This Morning" for the last few years.

Prior to this I was based in London and worked on a full time and freelance

I'm an experienced Archive Producer / Picture Researcher based in Scotland. I've worked in TV for over 18 years, primarily for ITV and also other Independent Production Companies.

Prior to this I was based in London and worked on a full time and freelance basis for ITV from 2007 on "GMTV", "Daybreak", "Loose Women", "Good Morning Britain" and "Lorraine".

Having re-located to Scotland in 2018, I'm looking for archive opportunities in TV and Film, and am set up for working from home as well as in the office.

I have extensive knowledge and experience dealing with Archives and Digital Agencies, obtaining footage and stills, negotiating the rates and rights required, dealing with any legal and fair dealing aspects, and also preparing material for edit.

I have an MA in History and have enjoyed using my experience in historical research when working on more historical based programme ideas. I also have a keen interest and knowledge of current affairs and news, sport, politics, art and music.
