I have been filming in Belgium at the site of the Battle of Waterloo and in the UK, to cover the first phase of the Waterloo Uncovered project at Hougoumont Farm. This is an unprecedented archaeological project drawing on international expertise and using army veterans alongside professional archaeologists to conduct the field work. My role is as a self shooting Producer/Director to capture events as they unfold for the benefit of the project itself and to create a pilot episode for a future commission. I have edited the online content for the project as well as material for their fundraising, and we are now embarking on a cutting edge augmented reality project.

The Faces of Phlamoudhi
July '11 - July '14
I have recently completed the production of my first self produced film The Faces of Phlamoudhi, for which I won Best New Director at the London Greek Film Festival (Oct 2014). The film is based on the book and photographs of Ian J Cohn, dealing with the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. I produced, directed and co-edited the film on location in northern and southern Cyprus, Paris and London. The film has been screened at film festivals, and in Cyprus and New York at the Cypriot UN Mission, and was broadcast on ANT1 in August 2015

Australian Cello Awards

I filmed the semi finals in London at the Royal Overseas League, including interviews with the competitors and jury panel. This was then sent to Australia, with a very fast turnaround, for the jury panel in Sydney and for use by the Australian Cello Awards for promotion and at the awards gala.

I filmed Classical Brit Award winning saxophonist Amy Dickson interviewing acclaimed composer Huw Watkins on the work 'Fanfares' which he composed for her, along with their performance of excerpts from the piece.

I directed, produced, co-filmed and co-edited a promotional video for Jack Murphy who is a movie and theatre choreographer, movement specialist, and dancing instructor.

-Worked directly with the Head of Development and the Head of Factual in developing series ideas for Discovery and National Geographic.
-Worked across a variety of proposals and genres, gaining access to hard to penetrate organisations and institutions.
-Was entrusted with creating and maintaining an ongoing relationship with a major international security company.

Dispatches. Iraq: The Betrayal
Jan-Feb '08
-Liaised with officials at the offices of two US Senators, the World Health Organisation and security contactors in Baghdad, whilst compiling regular intelligence reports for the director.
-Part of the crew filming interviews with MPs in Portcullis House and amidst demonstrations outside Downing Street.
-Discussed details of the script and collaborated with the director on sound-bites for the voice over.
-Selected archive material at ITN, and sat in on the edit.

-Helped plan the format and schedule of a series on F1, and participated in the presentation which won its commission.
-Worked on the creation of new cross-platform initiatives such as Splash News, and Splash Video.

-Researched the history behind the themes for all 15 episodes, contributing directly to the programme material.
-Advised the producers/directors on historical accuracy.
-Researched and sourced both costumes and props for historical reconstructions.
-On location I monitored for anachronisms and continuity, and liaised between the director, cast and crew on large scale battle re-enactments and acrobatic stunts.
