About Randall Wright

A Producer/Director and Series Producer, with extensive experience in long and short form documentary, in essay and observational genres. Randall Wright has a wide range of interests in the arts, history and disability, often with a biographical focus. A family history in West Africa led to many films about issues in sub-Saharan Africa.

Randall Wright has a wide range of interests in the arts, history and disability, often with a biographical focus. A family history in West Africa led to many films about issues in sub-Saharan Africa.

Dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of programme making with high or low budgets Randall has worked with presenters such as Sister Wendy Beckett, Kevin McCloud, Matthew Collings, Aminatta Forna and Alexander van Tulleken. He has excellent skills in writing, managing budgets, developing and motivating teams to achieve their objectives.

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS:
- Series producer/director credits on four series covering a wide range of genre and subjects from disability, religion, medical and the visual arts.
- National and international arts documentary hits Sister Wendy to David Hockney, and many others.
- Cinema documentary success with 'Hockney' and 'Summer in the Forest'.
- Made short film that opened the World Economic Forum in Davos 2011.
