I'm a great story teller - whether its Air Force One - Inside the President's Jet for ViacomCBS, HS2 - Death of the High Speed Express for ITV's Tonight programme... or a fast turnaround on the latest political crisis.

I'm primarily a self shooting P/D but can also produce, shoot and present some of my films. I started as an ITN correspondent and went on to P/D on countless episodes of ITV's flagship Tonight programme. I have P/D credits on everything from C4's Dispatches to self shot items for The One Show. I was the original P/D on BBC1's Fake Britain series - helping shape a format that has pulled upto five million viewers an episode!

I spent over ten years on staff at ITN and ITV, but now enjoy the range and variety of being freelance. My films are strong in structure and story telling. I'm a powerful script writer - whether for Sir Trevor McDonald or Eddie Izzard!

On location I'm an imaginative director - adept at getting the very best from craft cameramen and talent. On the right project I'm happy to self shoot. Solo assignments have taken me up Everest, across Borneo and a fascinating three weeks in a London intensive care unit for BBC1.

My career started as an on screen reporter at ITN. As a foreign correspondent I covered major global conflicts and disasters - including Afghanistan, Kosovo and Hurricane Katrina. Within ITN I crossed from news into documentaries and factual.

At ITN Factual I devised and series produced Cruel World - a 5x30min investigative series for Five on the global trade in wildlife and animal cruelty. It won 'best factual series' at the prestigious Genesis Awards in Hollywood. An undercover investigation into Cambodia's child sex industry helped change UK law on sex predators. Back at Tonight my 'Beat the Property Slump' two parter won some of the highest figures in the show's long history.

An eccentric, humorous one off doc I made for ITV - Routemaster: Goodbye London - Hello World! told the story of the iconic old double deckers being shipped off to new homes around the world. It won an RTS nomination. In complete contrast, my undercover investigation exposing Brits using child brothels in Cambodia became parliamentary evidence that led to tougher laws.

Basically, I just love to tell a good story! Also... happy to offer great rates to great charities keen to tell their story. I'm a Trustee for the international Network for Animals charity.
