Madelaine Hargreaves

These past couple of years I have been lucky enough to do work experience and internships with many amazing companies, including, Markham Froggatt and Irwin, Premier PR and Colin Jones' Casting Agency. At Premier PR I experienced working in some departments, including, entertainment and personal. Communication skills were put to use when discussing matters with co-workers, also when conversing with the actors of Death of a Paradise, during a roundtable interview. Optimising my time was very important, especially in moments such as organisation of screenings, however, in turn, rewarding when praised for my proficiency. Other things I enjoyed whilst working here was creating actors portfolios and biographies, and aiding in the sky voice control of their new remote. Though brief, my time at Colin Jones was incredibly enjoyable and taught me about some level of process within the acting process for big projects and am sure to be working with him again! I have also been in and out of Markham Froggatt and Irwin, now a part of Curtis Brown Agency, for a long time and have loved every minute of it. I still find (usually younger) actors for recommendations to the agency and have had one signed back in 2023.

I have been lucky enough to be exposed to some amazing experiences within the industry. Including attending several premiers, including Harry Potter, Dune and Dr Strange and visiting sets such as Tornado and The Walking Dead. This has allowed me to network with extremely interesting people that advised me in my growing career in the industry.
