I am versatile, hardworking and dedicated individual.

Having worked as a Media Liability Broker/Claims Handler for a leading insurance broker for a number of years, I was privileged to be the dedicated Account Handler for a number of production companies including NBCUniversal Left Bank Pictures, Kindle, ALL3MEDIA, and also Broadcasters such as Channel 5, Channel 4 and for a year ITV. My role was to specifically dealing with their Media Liability/Errors and Omissions Insurance policies.
Working as a dedicated Account Handler for a wide variety of Production Companies requires confidence, creativity and compassion. Each production Company has their own personality and ethos, and it is imperative to understand and appreciate this.

During my time at Media Insurance Brokers and throughout my career I have been able to develop strong and honest relationships that are built on trust. This is important in all scenarios, from the smaller production companies working with a major broadcaster for the first time to the more established production companies such as Left Bank Pictures or All3Media. I often met with my Client's not just before their Insurance Policy was due to be renewed, but throughout the year with the sole purpose of understanding their business and their people more. I made myself available for telephone discussions whenever needed to trouble shoot questions about their policy or to discuss a potential claim.

Throughout my career as a Paralegal whether I was managing a time sensitive Road traffic Accident Claim or a cease-and-desist letter, the day before a film was to be released, the key component required is the ability to be organised and proactive and calm.

It is imperative to obtain all the relevant information from the Client and have an idea based on the initial evidence of where any liability may lie. Providing initial advice on the urgent steps the Client needed to take to ensure that the Insurers were able to properly assess the risks of the claim was also an essential aspect of my role and required the ability to work under pressure and deal with multiple parties at one time.

During my time at Media Insurance Brokers, I worked closely with Insurers, the Client and lawyers on a number of high-profile privacy and copyright claims some of which were settled prior to litigation. These complex cases vastly increased my understanding of the Law in this area but have also encouraged me to further my studies by embarking on a Media Law course at the London School of Journalism.

In my current role as a legal and Insurance advisor for a small music Company, I have drafted Arrangers Agreements and provided advice on Contributors and Management Agreements as well as offering advice on contracts with record companies such as Sony and promoters such as Live Nation.
I'm excited to collaborate with the Legal & Business Affairs Team in this role and I am able to start work next month.

I am a member of the Kingdom Choir that had the opportunity to sing at the Royal Wedding of Harry and Megan Markle in 2018.

Toured America and The UK extensively and performed in Paris, Monaco, Morocco, Amsterdam and Australia at the Invictus Games to name a few.
