Employment History
April 2013: Work experience at Dean St. Studios (two weeks)
I spent a week working at Dean St. Studios as an assistant sound engineer. Dean St. is a post-production studio that creates music and sound for a variety of media formats such as advertisements, business presentations and television shows/films. This introduced me to using Digital Audio workstations such as Pro Tools & Logic, to create audio-visual output.

2014 - 2015: Maintenance Team member at Maltman's Green School (two summers)
For two summers in between my University breaks, I worked at a public primary school in the maintenance department. My role included general repairs, painting, gardening, some minor construction work and other odd jobs.
2015 - 2016: HMV Sales Assistant (seasonal christmas temp)
This was a temporary role that I worked during the Christmas period that gained me some focused experience in retail. I particularly enjoyed being able to build rapport with customers and colleagues over mutual passions for music, film and TV; through this I was able to deliver suitable recommendations and boost sales.
2015 - 2016: Barista and Waiter at The Swan Pub/Restaurant (seasonal Christmas temp)
The same job position as when I was working at The Royal Standard. I held this position in the evenings during the period that I was working at HMV.
April - October 2016: Sainsburys Online Delivery Driver (seven months)
This job consisted of driving a 3.5 tonne van around the Buckinghamshire area, delivering fresh and non-perishable items to customers doorsteps. This required me to be self-motivated and independent in terms of loading up the van to leave the depot on time and keeping to a strict and often tight schedule when out on the road. Safety and awareness was key as I was sometimes on the road for 9 hours in a shift.
2016 - present: Freelance Sound Engineer/Recordist for short films and musicians. Offering cheap/free services to local clients who need recording/editing/composing done to junior professional standard. My motto for these projects are "efficiency through organisation".
