Worked my way up from being an intern for 2 months to becoming an archive researcher then combined this role with being an account executive for the company and stayed in the role for 2.5 years. I worked across all departments, starting in digitisation scanning, cataloguing and organising the physical and online archive, colour correcting clips for Youtube and sending to clients. Alongside this, I worked on the masters team, quickly and accurately preparing master footage for clients and getting to grips with the licensing process and different qualities of footage. Predominantly worked as an archive researcher, meticulously digging through our archive, database and Footage Bank database to find and suggest appropriate footage to fit the client's brief, going above and beyond to exceed clients' expectations. Also helped train members of team to become archive researchers. Became predominant member of marketing department, in which I prepared showreels, newsletters and handled social channels to gain better knowledge of the wider industry and use this to create marketing strategies for the company. Was a member of the sales team as an account executive, in which I reached out to clients to discuss projects and negotiate rates, handled licensing enquiries and guide clients through ordering and licensing process. Organised and attended networking events such as FOCAL awards, for which I was a panel judge for 2 years. Gained strong experience and knowledge of archive licensing as well as building up hundreds of contacts.
