As a Unit Medic, I bring a wealth of experience gained from pre-hospital emergency ambulance work and in-hospital A&E services. I fully understand the busy needs of the production and strive to minimise disruption by providing robust medical care in a variety of dynamic and busy environments. I have provided medical cover for HETV and large film productions, usually covering construction phase, filming and derigging. I coordinate in assisting in providing additional medical support for more high risk elements of filming, by arranging onsite ambulance cover, crowd medics and location support medics.

As a health care professional registrant, my credentials can be verified, fully indemnified & insured, holding enhanced DBS certificate and can assist in providing safeguarding for minors on set. I am equipped with advanced life support equipment, emergency drugs in order to deal with quickly and effectively, any medical and traumatic emergencies that arise, including management and treatment of everyday minor injuries / illnesses and primary care issues. Furthermore, I can facilitate specialist referrals to A&E department, GP practices and other associated health care professionals.

As a unit medic I am here to support the production and there holistic needs, minimise any disruption by providing point of care management. Reporting back to the UPM /Line Manager with daily reports and liaising with H&S HOD, constantly striving to provide a high standard care with discretion while maintaining confidentiality.

I retain full insurance coverage with public liability and medical malpractice insurance for HETV and large movie productions. Insurance details are available upon request.

*Clients should note that hiring an uninsured medical provider transfers liability for malpractice to them.*
