I'm a creative Series Producer & Director with a C.V that includes hard hitting documentaries, high-end drama docs and action packed factual entertainment. I've SP'd 66 x 60' films in the last five years, and have credits with the major terrestrial & digital channels.This year I have helped to format two new drama doc series at Darlow Smithson for National Geographic and PBS. Nazi Megastructures unlocks the engineering secrets of Germany's largest WW2 constructions, and "Dead or Alive" tells 6 incredible true stories of people attacked by predators in the wild. Prior to that I was Series Producing "Seconds From Disaster" for National Geographic Channel International. This high profile series recreates and analyses 10 of the most famous disasters of recent history. Testimony from key witnesses and survivors, enhanced by high-end drama reconstructions, archive and photo-real computer graphics take the viewer into the confusion and panic that precede catastrophes, including the Jonestown Massacre, Blackhawk Down, the Everest Disaster and the world's deadliest plane crash - JAL 123. As a Producer/Director I've filmed in over 50 countries, and am a very experienced self-shooter, using C300, 5D, and a whole range of main unit cams. I have worked across an unusually diverse range of subjects and genre's, and specialize in identifying great stories and contributors. Over the last few years I have shot films with world famous sports stars, combat traumatized soldiers, aerospace pioneers, politicians and A-List Hollywood actors. I am used to operating in remote, dangerous locations, and am hostile environment trained.
