I am eager to learn from and contribute to your dynamic production team while further developing my skills as a videographer, project manager and event coordinator in a creative environment.
My role as a Marketing & Events Assistant at Weatherbys Private Bank has given me a solid foundation in organisational and communication skills, particularly in high-stakes event planning. I managed events ranging from intimate gatherings of 4 to large productions for 500 guests, requiring flawless execution by coordinating logistics such as venue selection, catering and audio-visual needs. My role as a Fieldwork Administrator at Leftfield Associates involved organising virtual and in- person focus groups, where I maintained meticulous records and facilitated smooth operations for up to 50 events per week.
My time in hospitality enabled me to purchase a SonyFX3 which I have used to fulfil my ambition of becoming a videographer, documenting cinematic experiences of places all around the world. My passion for story telling began during my studies in anthropology, where I learned about humans, societies and environments and wanted to showcase the beauty in their intricacies through art, film and photography.
I would love to start my film career as a runner to learn the intricacies of a film production. From here, one day I would love to direct or produce documentaries on social issues around the world in the hope to educate and inform people in order to make a change for the better.
