Abu, a Delhi based heritage-walk storyteller living in an Islamophobic India, defends his identity as a young muslim. Through these heritage walks he is reclaiming ownership of his peoples narrative.
As he creates a safe space for people to tour around in the historic streets of Old Delhi that are frequently mislabelled as terrorist hide-outs due to their majority muslim population, Abu himself is beginning to feel unsafe in the country he calls home. How many more walks will he be able to lead before all signs of his religious identity are erased?
